About Childhood Memories

Some nostalgia doesn't fit neatly into TV or film or music. Some of it is the texture of the era itself — the toys you fought your siblings over, the snacks you ate in front of those toys, the technology that made everything possible (dial-up internet, AIM, MSN Messenger, the original iPod, the Razr flip phone), and the fashion crimes you committed in school photos.

This category is for everything else: the Tamagotchi you killed in third grade, the Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper, the Bop It, the slap bracelet, the JNCOs, the frosted tips, the mall food court Sbarro that you genuinely thought was good. If it filled the background of a 90s/2000s childhood, it's in here somewhere.
